This study was done to evaluate the effect of Ritalin and nicotine and combination of Ritalin and nicotine on daily sperm production and epididymal sperm reserve in mice. Methods: In this experimental study, 120 adult male BALB/c mice were randomly allocated into one control group and 11 experimental (treatment) groups. Animals, in the first, second and third treated groups were received nicotine at the doses of 100, 200 and 400 microgr/kg/bw, respectively. Mice in fourth and fifth treated groups were received Ritalin at doses of 2 and 10 mg/kg/bw, respectively. Animals in sixth and seventh treatment groups were received nicotine in 400 microgr/kg/bw and Ritalin in 2 and 10 mg/kg/bw and in eighth and ninth groups, nicotine at dose of 200 microgr/kg/bw and Ritalin at doses of 2 and 10 mg/kg/bw, respectively. Animals in tenth and eleventh treated groups were received nicotine as dose of 100 microgr/kg/bw and Ritalin at doses of 2 and 10 mg/kg/bw, respectively. Ritalin and nicotine were administrated orally for 40 days. At the end of study, daily sperm production and epididymal sperm reserve were measeared. Results: The daily sperm production was significantly reduced in the groups with high consumption doses of nicotine and different doses of Ritalin and the majority of groups which used the combination of Ritalin and nicotine (P<0.05). The epididiymal sperm reserve was significantly increased in experimental groups of 8, 9, 10 and 11 which were received the combination of Ritalin and nicotine in different doses (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Ritalin and nicotine reduces daily sperm production and it incereases epididiymal sperm reserve in adult BALB/c mice. چکیده فارسی مقاله زمينه و هدف : نيکوتين يک ماده اعتيادآور و ريتالين دارويی است که برای درمان اختلالات بيش‌فعالی و نقص توجه مورد استفاده قرار می‌گيرد. اين مطالعه به منظور تعيين اثر ريتالين، نيکوتين و مصرف توأم آنها بر توليد روزانه اسپرم و ذخيره اسپرم اپيديديمی انجام شد. روش بررسی : در اين مطالعه تجربی 120 سر موش سوری نر بالغ نژاد BALB/c به صورت تصادفی به يک گروه کنترل و 11 گروه تجربی تقسيم شدند. در گروه‌های تجربی اول، دوم و سوم از نيکوتين به ميزان 400 ، 200 و 100 ميکروگرم برکيلوگرم وزن بدن، در گروه‌های تجربی چهارم و پنجم از ريتالين به ميزان 10 و 2 ميلی‌گرم بر کيلوگرم وزن بدن و در گروه‌های تجربی ششم و هفتم از نيکوتين به ميزان 400 ميکروگرم برکيلوگرم وزن بدن و از ريتالين به ميزان 10 و 2 ميلی‌گرم بر کيلو گرم وزن بدن، در گروه‌های هشتم و نهم از نيکوتين به ميزان 200 ميکروگرم بر کيلوگرم وزن بدن و از ريتالين به ميزان 10 و 2 ميلی‌گرم بر کيلوگرم وزن بدن و در گروه‌های دهم و يازدهم از نيکوتين به ميزان 100 ميکروگرم بر کيلوگرم وزن بدن و از ريتالين به ميزان 10 و 2 ميلی‌گرم بر کيلوگرم وزن بدن به صورت گاواژ به مدت 40 روز استفاده شد. در پايان، توليد روزانه اسپرم و ذخيره اسپرم اپيديديمی تعيين گرديد. يافته‌ها : در گروه‌های مصرف کننده نيکوتين با دوز زياد و ريتالين با دوزهای مختلف و اکثر گروه‌هايی که به‌صورت توأم از اين دو ماده استفاده کردند؛ در مقايسه با گروه کنترل کاهش آماری معنی‌داری در توليد روزانه اسپرم ديده شد (P<0.05)؛ ولی در مصرف توأم نيکوتين و ريتالين گروه‌های هشتم، نهم، دهم و يازدهم، افزايش آماری معنی‌داری در ذخيره اسپرم اپيديديمی مشاهده گرديد (P<0.05). نتيجه‌گيری : مصرف توأم نيکوتين و ريتالين سبب کاهش توليد روزانه اسپرم و افزايش ذخيره اسپرم در اپيديديم می‌گردد. کلیدواژه‌های انگلیسی مقاله Daily sperm production, Epididymal sperm reserve, Ritalin, Nicotine, Mouse کلیدواژه‌های فارسی مقاله توليد روزانه اسپرم , ذخيره اسپرم اپيديديمی , ريتالين , نيکوتين , موش آزمايشگاهی صفحه آغاز مقاله در نشریه ۲۳ صفحه پایان مقاله در نشریه ۲۸ نشانی اینترنتی http:///browse.php?a_code=A-10-1-807&slc_lang=fa&sid=fa فایل مقاله فایلی برای مقاله ذخیره نشده است نویسندگان مقاله 7027---7028---7029---7030---7031--- برای برگشت به بخش مقاله‌های منتشر شده اینجا را کلیک كنید.
